Less that perfect lifestyles can manifest poor health very quickly
My 12 year old Minature Schauzer has diabetes. I have been giving him insulin shots and doing all the other activities that go along with the diagnosis. I had also been feeding him low fat turkey hot dogs until 10 days ago. My house mate was at Walmart so I told her to pick some of the best lowest fat hot dogs that Walmart had. Of course she picked up the most fatty hot dogs Walmart had by accident. After feeding them to my shnauzer for just four days the dog had a pancreas attack and almost died. I took away all the fatty foods and the dog has recovered. I was shocked that it only took four days of poor dietary habits to almost kill the dog.
